Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Assumes full responsibility for operations, training and development of all Partners/General Managers and employees within multiple Sonic Drive-ins; including the execution of all policies, programs and systems, including the Sonic Operations Manual. Creates and maintains an “Employer of Choice” environment.

 

Education and Training:

High School education or equivalent required. Advance studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred.

 

Working Experience:

Three (3) years proven experience as a Working Partner/General Manager with sales and profit responsibility of a single restaurant. Three (3) years Multi-unit supervision experience and advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related experience are preferred.

 

Working Knowledge:

Thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant or retail operations. General knowledge of functional support areas, including Human Resources, Training, Marketing, Finance, Payroll and Point of Sale Systems. Leadership and supervisory practices and skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic accounting skills. Computer Skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office; Internet Explorer). Leadership, decision-making, organizational and conflict resolutions skills.

This is accomplished primarily through: hiring, training, and motivating restaurant employees; providing local store marketing; controlling costs; managing daily restaurant operations; and giving every customer outstanding service. Makes certain that the restaurant is consistently operated in agreement with the SONIC franchise license agreement, the SONIC Operations Manual, the drive-in’s standard operations systems and the drive-in policies and procedures.

Education and Training:
High School education or equivalent required. Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred.

Working Experience:
A minimum of one year of general restaurant or retail operations management experience, commensurate SONIC experience, or two to three years of restaurant experience as an Assistant Manager required.

Working Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant or retail operations. General knowledge of functional support areas, including Human Resources, Training, Marketing, Finance, Payroll and Point of Sale Systems.

This is accomplished primarily through: hiring, training, and motivating restaurant employees; providing local store marketing; controlling costs; managing daily restaurant operations; and giving every customer outstanding service. Makes certain that the restaurant is consistently operated in agreement with the SONIC franchise license agreement, the SONIC Operations Manual, the drive-in’s standard operations systems and the drive-in policies and procedures.

Education and Training:
High School education or equivalent required. Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred.

Working Experience:
A minimum of two years of general restaurant or retail operations management experience, commensurate SONIC experience, experience running shifts without supervision

Working Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant or retail operations. General knowledge of functional support areas, including Human Resources, Training, Marketing, Finance, Payroll and Point of Sale Systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Takes a leadership role in following the restaurant plan to achieve established operating standards, sales and profits with minimal supervision. This is achieved primarily by providing help in the areas of: hiring; training managers and crew; day-to-day operations, related administration, marketing and maintenance of the restaurant in a manner that customer service is maximized. Helps to make certain that the restaurant is consistently operated in accordance with SONIC’s franchise agreement and the drive-in’s operations systems and policies and procedures. Assumes full responsibility for the drive-in in manager’s or partner’s absence and generally works during periods of time the partner or manager is not present.

Education and Training:
High School education or equivalent required. Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred.

Working Experience:
One to two years of assistant management in a restaurant or retail environment; or equivalent SONIC experience and STAR certification in all stations; or up to six months of general management experience in a restaurant or retail environment. A minimum of one to two years of restaurant operations experience preferred.

Working Knowledge:
General knowledge of restaurant or retail day-to-day operations. A familiarity with the functional support areas of human resources, training, marketing, finance, payroll and point-of-sale systems.

The Crew Leader trains and supports the drive-in crew members, carhops and skating carhops to provide quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner so guests will have an enjoyable experience at SONIC. They work closely with management to ensure that each shift is consistent and in compliance with the SONIC franchise license agreement, the SONIC-Drive-in Operations Manual, the drive-in’s standard operations systems and drive-in policies and procedures.

Education and Training:
High School education or equivalent preferred.

Working Experience:
Six months in retail or food service operations and/or equivalent SONIC experience. STAR certification in all stations is required.<

Working Knowledge:
General knowledge and understanding of restaurant or retail operations is required.
