Mike Beacham receives The Buddy McClain Hall of Fame Award

“I would like to congratulate Mike on this prestigious award. The Buddy McClain Hall of Fame Award goes to individuals that have shown over time that Sonic is in their heart and soul. Mike exemplifies this in so many ways. He has a “can do” attitude with unwavering integrity. Whatever needs to be done to support our Sonic family is done without hesitation. Mike is truly a “lifer” with this Sonic family.”
– MVP President, Andy Alsobrook

Each Year Buddy McClain presents the prestigious Buddy McClain Hall of Fame Award to a deserving employee of the company who within the previous year has exemplified the hard work that the award has become known to represent. This award is indicative of the leadership and professional growth displayed by an individual which ultimately affects not only them but those around them in a positive way.

This year’s recipient is Vice President of Operations, Mike Beacham. Mike grew up in Gadsden, AL. and after graduation immediately went to work in the fast food industry. Throughout the years he has worked for several fast foods restaurant chains and in 2011 came on board and joined our MVP Sonic Group as Director of Operations. Mike was later promoted to Regional Vice President of the MVP North Market. Due to the recent changes within our organization and company restructuring, his title is now Vice President of Operations.
Mike is married to Denise and they have one son, Alex and a daughter- in- law Rachel. He is an avid Alabama Crimson tide fan who enjoys running, fishing and hunting. He is also an active member who performs service ministry at his local church, Colonial Heights Baptist Church.

Mike is currently a partner in our Yazoo City location and one of his goals is to someday become a partner in more Sonic restaurants. One of Mike’s greatest contributions to our company is his selflessness. He gives himself tirelessly to his team as well as to the company as a whole. His desire has been and still is to share the knowledge he has gained of this business over the years and to “pay it forward” for the betterment of those who work around, for and with him. We would say he’s doing just that.

From the entire MVP Sonic Family… Congratulations Mike!!!
