2021 Buddy McClain Hall of Fame Award Winner: Trey Ellison

Trey Ellison has been with MVP SONIC for 18 years. Trey started his Sonic career when he left his 3rd year of college to take a GM position in Florence, MS. After running Florence, he became a Supervisor for North Mississippi and moved back to his hometown of Sparta, MS. Trey would tell fellow employees at Sonic to always be intentional. “No matter how good or bad things seem, be intentional with your actions. This is how we continue to grow and help others grow.” Trey says, “I have been blessed with mentors such as Bruce Vaughn, Buddy McClain, Andy Alsobrook, Mike Beacham, and Tracie Russell. They have helped me grow and I want to do the same for others.”

Per McClain Vaughn & Partner tradition, Ellison was awarded a ROLEX watch as part of being inducted into the Buddy McClain Hall of Fame, which is announced every year at the MVP yearly awards banquet.

He has been married to Leisa for 19 years and has two daughters, Anna Catherine, and Elle.
