The McClain, Vaughn, & Partners Annual Awards Banquet was celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2026, as we came together to honor the achievements and successes of the past year.
In keeping with McClain, Vaughn, & Partners tradition, Buddy McClain, Franchisee & Chairman of the Board, presented the Buddy McClain Hall of Fame Award—the highest individual honor within our organization. This distinguished award recognizes an individual whose leadership, drive, and commitment have made a lasting impact on McClain, Vaughn, & Partners and MVP SONIC.
The recipient of this award receives a Rolex watch, symbolizing the dedication, perseverance, and excellence required to achieve both personal and professional success. Buddy McClain is passionate about mentoring others and believes deeply in giving back to the company that helped shape his journey. This award represents that philosophy—hard work, follow-through, community involvement, and leading by example.
We are proud to announce the 2025 Buddy McClain Hall of Fame Award Winner: Porcha Wallace.
Porcha has worked for Sonic Drive In for 25 years. She started out as a carhop and has worked her way up through the ranks. She began her SONIC career at a SONIC Corporate Owned store on February 22, 2001. In 2016, MVP acquired the store she was working in. She was transferred to the Destin, FL SONIC location in August of that year. In 2018, Wallace agreed to move to Coral Springs, FL, to open a brand-new location for MVP. In April of 2020, Porcha embarked on a new journey by moving to the MS Gulf Coast area. Here she worked at the D’Iberville Sonic as the General Manager for 5 years. During that time, she also began helping with another location in the area as a multi-Unit manager. In January of 2025, she officially was promoted to District Supervisor over the 5 MVP locations on the MS Gulf Coast. Porcha has always been a team player that excels in training and growing teams at all her stores. She is very well respected by all those she works with and is a true asset to the MVP family. Congratulations to Porcha on this exciting recognition.
Porcha is married to her husband, Mark, and together they have a son, Jamison. As a family, they share a love for WWE—proof that champions recognize champions.
